Mission Statement
Calvary Chapel Columbia exists to equip the saints for ministry, maturity, unity, and the building up of the body of Christ. Calvary Chapel Christian School is an extension and ministry of Calvary Chapel Columbia. Our guiding principle is Soli Deo Gloria “glory to God alone.” Our mission is to partner with parents to train up and educate their children to become virtuous individuals of sound character. A virtuous life involves knowledge, belief, morals and action for the glory of God and the good of others.
Vision Statement
Our vision is to prepare individuals who will be spiritually mature, academically advanced and socially developed to not only be ambassadors for Christ, but to hold the keys of the future in their hearts, minds and hands.

Statement of Purpose
Imago Dei is a Latin phrase meaning image of God. It is a theological term that speaks of the unique qualities of humans and their special relationship to God. Arête is a Greek word meaning excellence. In Greek culture the term arête was used to refer to moral virtue or the fulfillment of purpose. CCCS believes that we are created in the image of God and it is our moral duty to do our best to become a virtuous individual for the glory of God and the good of others, and that is the desired goal for all CCCS staff, parents and students.
Arête Ad Maiorem Dei Gloriam. Excellence for the greater glory of God!
